In many applications, the parts counted by the elmor C1 counting device are filled directly into sample vials, such as Eppendorf tubes, 1-dram glass vials, or other microvials.
In addition to the common method using the elmor filling carousel, elmor also offers a solution for direct filling at the outlet of the counting device.
Function
The specially designed filling adapter is mounted below the outlet chute of the elmor C1.
The small containers – for example 1-dram glass vials or 1.5 ml Eppendorf tubes – are placed into the designated holder.
Once the vial is correctly positioned, the counting and filling process starts automatically.
The upper end of the vial is precisely guided and sealed with an O-ring inside the adapter. This ensures that even very small and hard parts – such as spheres made of ceramic or precious metals – cannot bounce out of the vial during filling.
Advantages
- Direct filling without intermediate steps: No need to transfer the counted parts from a temporary container into the sample vials.
- Improved process reliability: Prevents loss of small parts or adhesion due to electrostatic charging.
- Simplified handling: Enables clean, automated filling directly at the counting device.
- Versatile compatibility: Suitable for various types of small containers, including glass vials and Eppendorf tubes.
By using the filling adapter, the filling of small and valuable components becomes simpler, faster, and more reliable, making it an ideal complement to the elmor C1 counting device.
